Holiday Italian is an introductory course that will suit beginners and also those who want to brush up their Italian and make the most of their holidays in glorious Italy.

We’ll follow the BBC “Talk Italian 1 – The ideal course for absolute beginners” course which covers practical situations you may come across on holiday such as ordering a meal, catching a train, shopping, sightseeing and asking for directions. 

The emphasis will be on talking and listening. And we’ll definitely have fun!

The course will run for 9 weekly sessions from 4th April to 30th May 2024. We will meet at 2-3.30 pm, on Thursday afternoons at Swinton Gateway.

There will be a charge of £15 for the course, to cover the cost of room hire. You will also need to buy the course materials, which can be purchased from various online retailers and cost about £15 (if you don’t have means to play the CDs then do not worry – just get the book and we will listen to the CDs together in our meetings).
