We are a friendly, sociable group who share a love of the French language and culture, and of learning together. We have a wide range of skills and we make sure everyone is included and supported to develop their skills.

Our members have a wide range of abilities so, to meet everyone’s needs, we have some activities in separate groups, according to level of fluency, and some shared activities.
We would not be suitable for absolute beginners but whether you have rusty school French you would like to polish, or have a good level of French, you would be very welcome to try us out.
We meet at the Walkden Gateway community rooms on alternate Wednesdays at 2 – 4pm. The 20 and 37 bus routes run close by.
There is a small charge (£10 per person) to cover the cost of room hire and refreshments for the meetings through to June 2024. Anyone wishing to come along for a “taster” meeting or two would be very welcome and will be asked to pay £1.
