To become a member of Salford u3a
We always welcome new members to Salford u3a and are particularly delighted to receive applications from minority groups and those with disabilities.
First decide which groups you wish to join; you can participate in as many as you like or have time for. Then contact each group’s convenor in order to gather more information and, if necessary, see if there is a vacancy for those groups which you are interested in. Please see the Groups page for a full list of activities.
Convenors will happily allow you to sample a couple of sessions before you make a final decision to become a u3a member.
There is a modest annual fee that entitles you to join as many interest groups as you like, and you will also receive by post the u3a magazine, Third Age Matters, which is published five times a year.
If you would like to join Salford u3a, please complete our membership form. If you have any queries about membership, contact the membership secretary by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org marking the subject line of your email ‘FAO: Ken Ball’.
Existing members of Salford u3a
The membership year runs from January to December but due to the exceptional situation we have found ourselves in, the renewal process that would normally have applied at the beginning of 2021 was suspended.
Members are now invited to renew their membership through to 31 December 2021 at a cost of £10 per member. To renew, please forward a cheque made payable to ‘Salford u3a’ either directly to the Membership Secretary or via one of your convenors. In return you will receive a 2021 membership card that will act as your receipt.
We thank you for your continuing support.
