We are a friendly group of people who welcome all newcomers at whatever level – even people who have never played the game before. We like to play a social game of 2 or 3 people and, whilst we score the game in progress, no record of results is kept – it’s the playing that counts. True to u3a tradition, it exercises the mind and is part of the scheme of life.

Venue and Time: The group meets at Eccles Gateway, alternate Tuesdays 1:30-3:30pm.

There is a small charge (£1.50 per person) for each session to cover the cost of room hire.
