We have an opportunity to start a monthly Crown Green Bowling group. One of our u3a members is a member of the delightful Roe Green Bowling club and the club captain has kindly offered to make their facilities available to us one afternoon per month.

Beginners are welcome to join us and there is no need to have any previous experience: there will be some teaching support for those who are new to bowling. The club do have some woods and mats we can use but if you have your own equipment then please do bring it along with you. Appropriate footwear is important and is is essential that you wear flat-soled shoes (but not open-toed sandals).

Venue and Time: Beesley Green Community Centre, Greenleach Lane, Worsley, Manchester, M28 2QW on the last Friday of the month from 13:00-15:00 pm. Our first dates are:

• Friday 26 May
• Friday 30 June
• Friday 28 July
• Friday 25 August
• Friday 29 September

There will be a small charge of £2 to play and £1 for refreshments. There is ample parking on-site.
