Our Crown Green Bowling group has a growing group of regular and enthusiastic members. Beginners are welcome to join us and there is no need to have any previous experience: there will be some teaching support for those who are new to bowling. The club do have some woods and mats we can use but if you have your own equipment then please do bring it along with you. Appropriate footwear is important and is is essential that you wear flat-soled shoes (but not open-toed sandals).
Our final meeting for the 2024 season will be on Friday 30 August. We will start up again next spring for our 2025 season and will announce a date for the first meeting early in the new year.
Venue and Time: We meet at St Mary’s Park, St Mary’s Road, Walkden, M28 3RL on alternate Fridays from 13:00-15:00 pm.
There will be a small charge of £2 to play and £1 for refreshments. There is a clubhouse and ample parking on-site.
