Long walks
These walks are generally about 5-7 miles (or a little shorter when daylight is limited) and are relatively gentle and predominantly on flat ground involving little ascent. We are generally back in Worsley by four o’clock. The walks are full days and you are required to bring a packed lunch.
Members normally make their own way to the start of the walks, often sharing car space with other members (a formula for car sharing expenses exists). Members who need help with transport should request this well in advance via the group WhatsApp.
We ask that new members please contact the convenor before joining a walk so we have an idea on numbers.
