Sometimes you just want to do something on the spur of the moment…

This group is for those of us who see an opportunity and think: I’d like to see/do/visit/explore that but it would be so much more fun if others came along too. Some of our early ventures have been attending the Manchester Flower Festival, and gathering in a cafe on a Sunday morning to read and discuss the newspapers: we are going to attend one of the local Motown evenings in July.

As this is a new group it was decided to have a monthly coffee morning to get things moving forward. This will be on different days of the week to ensure that as many of the members as possible can attend.  Meetings will be held at the Barton Arms pub in Worsley and the next one will be on Wednesday 29th November at 11.15.  These coffee mornings will be a good way for members of this group to get to know each other and come along with suggested events that members can attend together.
