Strollers enjoy a gentle walk of up to an hour on good footpaths, alternate Saturday mornings. We typically meet up at 10:30am and, where we can, travel together to the starting point of the walk using public transport: all our walks are within the Salford borough. We always finish at a café/pub for refreshments.

We’re a friendly, chatty group and welcome new members. If you are new to the group, and would like to join one of our walks, please contact the convenor beforehand for detailed information about the starting point and travel arrangements.

We have one final walk in 2025 which will be on Saturday 20 December. Please contact the convenor for further details.

2026 Programme

For our 2026 programme, we will meet at the Barton Arms, Worsley (M28 2ED) at 10:30am for a walk in the Worsley area (weather permitting).

Our first walk for the new year will be on Saturday 3 January 2026 and fortnightly thereafter.
