These walks are generally about 5-7 miles (or a little shorter when daylight is limited) and are relatively gentle and predominantly on flat ground involving little ascent. We are generally back in Worsley by four o’clock. The walks are full days and you are required to bring a packed lunch.

Transport to the start of the walks relies on informal car sharing and expenses also being shared, a formula for which exists. However, members can also choose to meet with the group at the start of the walk. If you do need transport, please email the convenors well in advance so that we can arrange for someone to meet you at St Marks before 10 am.

We ask that new members please contact the convenor before joining so we have an idea on numbers.
