30 Jan	Florence	Meet at St Marks at 12.30pm or go direct to Sale Water Park (M33 2LX) meeting at Boathouse Restaurant car park, next beyond initial car park by Tree Tops Cafe
13 Feb	Brian Pearson	Walk from RHS Bridgewater car park. This walk will be around 2 1/2 miles, flat, with no stiles. Meet at St Marks car park at 1pm (note time change please)
27 Feb	Pam & Ken	Philips Park (M45 7GJ). *Directions:* exit M60 at J17, turn left to Bury, and turn left at traffic lights adjacent to McDonalds, then left at next traffic light onto Park Lane. Follow lane 1/2 mile to end of road and go into park through opposite stone gate posts, over motorway and meet at car park on RHS
13 Mar	Sheila Thomas	*A canal walk* A walk around the Worsley and Monton area, including the towpath by the Bridgewater Canal. We will start at the Worsley church (St Marks) car park. There’s every chance we may stop off at Worsley Old Hall afterwards for a drink.
27 Mar	Janet & Ken	*Rixton daffodil walk* A 4 mile leisurely walk across farmland and along the lanes of Rixton. No stiles, no cows and no hills but could be muddy in parts. Boots are recommended. Meet at St Marks Church car park at 1pm or go direct to the Black Swan pub, Manchester Road, Hollins Green WA3 6LA for 1.30pm.
10 Apr	Mary	From RHS Bridgewater to the Boat House. A flat walk along the towpath. Meet at St Mark’s car park at 1pm or in the RHS car park (overflow car park on right side) at 1.10pm. Please note this walk is on Easter Monday.
24 Apr	Bev & Brian	Yarrow Country Park, Chorley. There are no stiles or steps but it’s a bit uneven in parts and may be muddy so walking boots are advisable. About 30 min drive from St Marks (PR7 3QL) or meet at St Marks.
8 May	Brian & Sheila	*Pennington Flash*. This is a short walk of about 3 miles with a few stiles. Meet at St Marks or at the Flash (WN7 3PA)
22 May	Brian	Entwistle Reservoir. A walk round the reservoir of around 2.5 miles on flat going with no stiles that I recall. Very picturesque but can be muddy.

19 Jun	Brian & Ros	*Roe Green loopline*. A walk along the loopline through Worsley woods via the Delph then back along the canal – no more than 4 miles. Depart from Dukes Drive, Monton
3 Jul	Brian P	*The “ice cream factory” at Adlington*. A canal walk of about 4 miles on the flat. Meet at St Marks or on Highfield Road, Adlington PR6 9RG
17 Jul	Sylvia & Brenda	*Wheelton*. A walk of about 4.5 miles from Wheelton clock. Meet at PR6 8EY if going direct.
31 Jul	Pat & John	*Rivington*. A short walk of about 4 miles starting from Rivington Barn (BL6 7SB) car park (the one near the cafe).
14 Aug	Wendy & Denise	Pennington Flash A walk of about 5 miles without stiles but a flight of 15 steps leading from the flash up to the canal – otherwise flat. Parking tickets required (buy from the cafe).
28 Aug	Brian P	A local walk of about 3 miles – details to be confirmed Please note that this is a bank holiday.
11 Sep	Marlene & Fred	*Dovestones Reservoir* This walk is just over 4 miles with no stiles and dry underfoot. Starting point in OL3 7NE (car park is £1 for two hours).
25 Sep	Janet & Martin	*Bridgewater Canal and Dunham Park* A walk of about 4 miles on good paths, mainly flat but with some steps down from the canal and a couple of easy stiles.Start at the Axe and Cleaver pub (WA14 4SE) where there is free parking (or at the church nearby).
9 Oct	Bev & Brian	Duxbury Jubilee Park, Chorley Lovely woodland walk (about 3 miles) alongside the River Yarrow. It may be a bit muddy underfoot and boots and walking poles are advisable. There are no steps or stiles although the path is undulating. Meet at the parking area on Duxbury Hall Road (PR7 4AT).
23 Oct	Fred	Roddlesworth Woods Approx 4.5 miles, with one flight of steps and at our pace taking about 2 hours to complete. This walk is a bit longer than usual so please take that into account.
6 Nov	Pat & John	*Salford Greenway* An easy walk of about 4 miles. We will meet at Dukes Drive, Monton. Please note we now meet at 12:30 pm.
20 Nov	Eileen & Pauline	*Worsley Canal walk* A walk of about 3 miles on flat ground with mud expected in parts but no stiles. Please note we now meet at 12:30 pm.
4 Dec	Hazel & Joy	Dean Wood, Rivington This is a fairly easy walk of about 3.5 to 4 miles, with one stile and some steep steps (with handrail). It could be muddy or icy if the weather is wet/cold. Park on the road up to Rivington Hall (BL6 7SB). Please note we now meet at 12:30 pm.
