9 Jan	Margaret & Bill	Lytham St Annes	Meet Fairhaven Road, Lytham St Annes FY8 1NN. There is free parking on the road or a pay car park (£3.40 for the day). The walk is approximately 4 miles one way, walk back or return on public transport. Lunch: bring your own, or cafe or restaurant of your choice. Alternatively, meet at St Mark’s Car Park before 10am for car sharing.
23 Jan	Guy & Viv	Worsley Woods	Park and meet at St Mark’s; five and a bit miles and no stiles.
6 Feb	Marjorie & Carole	Kersal Wetlands	This is a walk of about 7 miles, easy, mainly flat, and with one short upward slope. Meet at the Park and Ride on East Lancs at 10.15 for the Vantage bus to Salford Museum and Art Gallery (the next stop after Salford Crescent station). Or meet at the bus-stop outside Salford Museum and Art Gallery (M5 4WU) at 10.45. There is only limited parking in front of the Museum so bus is best.
20 Feb	Hazel & Joy	Lyme Park, Disley	Walk of about 5.5 miles. Meet at St Marks Church for 10am departure, or if going straight there we are meeting at Nelson Pit Car Park, Lyme Road (SK12 1TH) (payment required).
6 Mar	Brenda & Sylvia	Foulridge	Walk postponed due to bad weather
20 Mar	Joane & Florence	Goyt Valley	6.5 mile walk from Vernon Park. There are some ups and downs and muddy bits in first half so bring a stick. It’s then a good path and flat for the second half. There are no stiles. Meet at St Marks or at the start of the walk in Vernon Park (by the cafe) SK1 2GT.
3 Apr	Lynn & Sue	Rudyard Lake	Walk around Rudyard Lake. Meet at Rudyard Lake Hotel, Lake Road, Rudyard, Leek ST13 8RN. We will have a meal afterwards. The carvery is closed – food options at the end of the walk are: bring your own picnic, use the lake cafe, or try the hotel menu.

1 May	Chris & John	Sankey Valley & Carr Mill Dam	Starting point for walk: WA11 0AB (Bank holiday) Please note the ‘Dutch Delights’ (Netherlands) trip will still be in progress
15 May	Brian & Ros	Clifton Country Park	Clifton country park to Moses Gate country park, with lunch at the meccano bridge. A walk of about 7 miles, mostly flat, some on roads.
29 May	Brenda & Sylvia	Foulridge	5.5 mile walk from Foulridge. Park at Cafe Cargo, Warehouse Lane, Foulridge BB8 7PP. There is an old stony riverbed which can be quite slippy, so poles would be useful. (Bank holiday)
12 Jun	Marlene & Fred	River Weaver	Walk in memory of Jean and Audrey. Visit to the Salt Barge pub following the walk. Park at Yarwood Close, Northwich CW8 1ET.
26 Jun	Fred & John	Hurst Green, Clitheroe	A 7.5 mile mostly flattish walk, with a few up and down places. There’s a long descent (mainly steps) at the start of the walk and a long, gradual ascent along a stony shale path (with steps) at the end. Park at Memorial Hall (BB7 9QB – suggested £2 donation) if spaces available, or on the roadside.
10 Jul	Debra & Marlene	Peover, Cheshire	A walk of about 6 miles starting near the historic Peover Hall and looping round to Lower Peover and its lovely sixteenth century church. See here for directions to start point.

21 Aug	Hazel & Joy	Anglezarke Reservoir	Starting point for the walk: Moor Road PR6 9DQ Please use the car park near the bottom of the reservoir.

As parking is limited in front of the Museum, get any bus either on Newearth Road or any stop on the East Lancs to Salford Museum and Art Gallery (the next stop after Salford Crescent station) M5 4WU. Meet there at 10.30 am Extra walk for those not going on the trip to Somerset
18 Sep	Lynn & Sue	Bartington, Northwich	A 5.25 mile walk starting at the Leigh Arms, Warrington Road, Northwich CW8 4QT. The pub is on the left immediately before you go over the swing bridge (ignore the post code for the pub – satnav tells you to turn right).
2 Oct	Janet & Ken	Culcheth	A flat, easy walk of about 5.5 miles – no stiles but can be muddy in some places so boots are recommended. Start from the General Elliot Pub, Lord Street, Croft WA3 7DE – parking available in the pub car park.
16 Oct	Kath & Bill	Smithills and Barrow Bridge	A walk of about 4.5 miles with a short, moderate climb and 3 stiles. Meet at Main Attractions car park (BL1 7ND).
30 Oct	Chris & John	Etherow	Etherow Country Park, Compstall, Stockport (SK6 5JD). Five miles – with 4 or 5 steepish but fairly short gradients that are manageable if taken slowly and steadily. There are a number of muddy footpaths along the way. Parking is available at the visitor centre.
13 Nov	Carole & Marjorie	From St Marks…	A flat 6 mile local walk leaving St Marks at 10 am.
27 Nov	Brenda & Sylvia	Glazebury	Park at Bents Garden Centre WA3 5NT near the main entrance, facing the road. Flat walk of approx. 5 miles with 3 stiles.
11 Dec	Chris & Shirley	Sale Water Park	A short, flat walk of about 4 miles followed by our “end of year” lunch at Jackson’s Boat at 1:30 pm. Meet at the Visitors’ Centre (M33 2LX).
