You can exercise standing, seated or lying down. You will eventually need a proper yoga mat but initially a small blanket or similar will suffice.

Clothing. A T-shirt or sweatshirt plus thin leggings or jogging bottoms will be OK. Bring a loose top in case the room is a little cold at first. Usually you work in bare feet, but if this is a problem then socks with non slip soles will be fine.
