Hola!

This is a new group for people who already have some knowledge of Spanish who want to chat in Spanish and improve their knowledge of the language at the same time. You are welcome to join us whatever your current ability – whether you learnt in school, want to speak confidently on holiday, or are simply interested in keeping up your conversational skills in this beautiful language.

Our emphasis will be on conversation in line with the interests and aspirations of members; it is not intended to be a teaching course as such. However, we will use written and aural material as a focus for our conversations, and as a means of exploring aspects of Spanish life and culture.

Venue and date/time: We will meet on alternate Thursday afternoons for an hour from 2 pm until 3 pm with our first meeting on the afternoon of Thursday 1 June. Initially we will meet at the Community Room in Morrisons (Eccles branch) but may eventually need to consider another venue as the group grows.

There will be no charge for the room hire. Parking is free provided you enter your name and vehicle registration on the tablet provided at the Customer Service desk.
