Venue and Time: We meet every Thursday at St Paul’s Community Centre, Manchester Road, Walkden from 2pm-4pm, and break for a drink and biscuits.
The Bridge Group is very much in demand and you may have to join a waiting list before getting a place. Nevertheless, if you are interested, please contact James.
Learn the basics or just play. Bridge is not just a game for the intellectual. If you have played any game which takes tricks (Whist, Nap, Solo, etc) you have made a good start.
Bidding: This is the only difference to the above named games and this we will teach you. The game permits you to use a crib sheet (very handy).
Bridge is a happy game, people who wish to play seriously move on to other clubs.
We like our afternoons to be comfortable but make no mistake, you will get a good grounding in the game.
