Latest News from Handicraft Group
The Handicrafts group have decided to knit for charity and we’re inviting everybody in Salford U3A to join us. We are knitting premature baby hats and blankets for the neonatal and children’s wards at Royal Bolton Hospital and North Manchester General Hospital (we don’t have these services in Salford anymore). We will link up with ‘Project Linus’ a national charity that distributes quilts, blankets and hats to hospitals and needy children all over the UK. To help us we would like you to knit baby hats see link: http://projectlinusuk.org.uk/premature-baby-hats/ or squares that we will sew together into blankets.
