To become a member of Salford U3A:
First decide which group/groups you wish to join, you can participate in as many as you like or have time for. Then contact the group’s Convenor in order to gather more information and, if necessary, see if there is a vacancy for those groups which are in demand. Please see the Groups page for a full list of activities.
You can, however, sample a couple of sessions before you decide to join.
There is an annual fee which is now £20; a recent increase to cover additional charges levied for room hire. You will also receive by post the U3A magazine, Third Age Matters.
If you would like to join the Salford U3A, please see the Membership Form, print the form and then send the form along with your cheque to the value of £20, made payable to ‘Salford U3A’ to:
Membership Secretary – Ken Ball, 65 Broadway, Irlam, Manchester M44 6DQ. It would be helpful if you could please enclose a stamped addressed envelope along with your cheque, for your membership card to be sent to you.
